Problem: Charged with engaging 7,000+ non-school-based employees spread across 5 boroughs, the Office of Organizational Development and Effectiveness needed a fun way to build positive workplace culture.
Role: As Facilitation Partner, my role was to promote challenges pre-launch and then co-facilitate them with the step tracking app company. In this role, I:
Solution: Approximately 500 employees participated in each virtual walking challenge (5 total). In response to a survey distributed after the most recent challenge, 82.5% of participants reported an increase their physical activity at work and 76% found that that challenge positively impacted their work environment or team culture.
